Betsy Frischman Fischer, M. Ed.

Betsy Frischman Fischer, M.Ed., has never been afraid to reinvent herself. Born and raised in New Jersey, she attended Rutgers University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and certifications as both an elementary teacher and a teacher of the handicapped. At Temple University, she designed and completed a master’s program centered on the inclusion of students with special needs in the performing arts—a passion that shaped her early career.

For ten years, Betsy inspired and empowered her students, breaking barriers to bring creativity and confidence into her classroom. Later, she transitioned into the worlds of fitness and entertainment, working as a dance and Zumba instructor, an award-winning DJ/MC, and an entrepreneur. She founded The Groove Lounge, a popular nightclub for kids in southern New Jersey, hosting creative and high-energy events.

Betsy’s luckiest role is to be married to Peter, and her greatest accomplishments are her three children, Caley, Jake, and Jameson. She has dedicated much of her time to philanthropic work, particularly with Jewish National Fund-USA. Through her volunteer efforts with JNF, she was honored to meet Gadi Yarkoni. His resilience and positivity deeply inspired Betsy, leading her to close her business and dedicate herself to sharing Gadi's remarkable story with the world.
